The radius of the ceramic wear-resistant elbow, also known as the bending radius R, refers to the radius of the circle. The larger the radius, the larger the circle and radian, and the more similar to a straight line. Therefore, the larger the radius of curvature, the smaller the resistance of conveying materials, and the smaller the radius, the greater the resistance.
The size of the radius of curvature is generally determined in multiples of the pipe diameter. Such as DN100, the radius of curvature is R10D, then the radius of curvature of the elbow is R1000.
1. The radius of curvature of the elbow of the power plant boiler powder feeding pipeline should be determined according to the requirements of the drawings, generally six to ten times. The ash conveying pipeline is severely worn for a long time, and the radius of curvature should be as large as possible. If the radius is small, the service life will be reduced.
2. Generally, the radius of curvature of tailings slurry in mine transportation is 2D to 5D.
3. The curvature radius of ceramic wear-resistant elbows generally used in cement plants to transport pulverized coal is 10D to 15D.
4. The radius of curvature of the elbow of the chemical ash conveying pipeline is 10D.
If there is a space limitation on the installation part of the ceramic wear-resistant elbow, we recommend that the minimum be not lower than R3.5D, and make a thickened backpack on the back to increase the service life of the small-radius elbow.
