Technical parameters of silicon carbide inner layer
SiC content: The SiC content of the silicon carbide inner layer is usually not less than 80%. The high content of SiC ensures the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the pipeline. The SiC content of some high-performance silicon carbide ceramic pipes can even reach more than 85%.
 
Hardness: The hardness of silicon carbide ceramics is very high, with a Mohs hardness of about 9.0 and a Vickers hardness of about 2500-3500 HV. High hardness enables silicon carbide ceramic pipes to resist wear and corrosion under various harsh working conditions.
 
Density: The volume density of silicon carbide ceramics is usually not less than 2.60g/cm³, and some high-performance products can even reach more than 2.65g/cm³. High density means less porosity and higher material density, thereby improving the strength and durability of the pipeline.
 
Wear resistance: Silicon carbide ceramic pipes have excellent wear resistance, which is usually more than ten times that of alloy steel and wear-resistant cast iron.
