What is an alumina ceramic sleeve used for?

Alumina ceramic sleeves are mainly used to protect pipelines from severe abrasion caused by powder, ash, cement, coal, and mineral materials. They are widely applied in pneumatic conveying systems in cement, steel, mining, and power plants.

Why choose an alumina ceramic sleeve instead of a steel pipe?

Ceramic sleeves provide significantly higher wear resistance than steel pipes. Their hardness is close to diamond level, and the smooth ceramic inner wall reduces friction and extends service life.

How long does a ceramic sleeve pipeline last?

Under the same working conditions, alumina ceramic sleeve pipelines typically last 4–5 times longer than conventional steel pipes, reducing replacement frequency and downtime.

What industries use ceramic-lined pipes?

Most wear-resistant ceramic sleeves use 95% high purity alumina, which provides high hardness, corrosion resistance, and excellent abrasion resistance.

Can ceramic sleeves reduce maintenance costs?

Yes. Due to its high wear resistance, ceramic sleeve pipelines reduce maintenance frequency, labor cost, and production downtime, improving overall system efficiency.

Will the ceramic lining fall off during operation?

High-strength epoxy adhesive and integrated sintered ceramic rings ensure strong bonding between ceramic and steel pipe. When properly installed, the ceramic lining remains stable during long-term operation.

What is the working temperature of the ceramic sleeve?

Standard alumina ceramic sleeve pipelines can operate continuously up to about 150°C, meeting most pneumatic conveying requirements

Which part of the pipeline needs the ceramic sleeve the most?

Elbows and high-speed material impact areas experience the most severe wear and are the primary locations where ceramic sleeves are recommended.
