Product Description
Wear-resistant ceramic lined elbow is a kind of ceramic lined composite steel pipe, which is widely used in power, metallurgy, mining, coal, chemical industry and other industries, and is used to transport abrasive granular materials and corrosive media such as sand, stone, coal powder, ash, aluminum liquid, etc.
Wear-resistant ceramic lined elbow consists of three layers from inside to outside, namely corundum ceramic, transition layer and steel. The ceramic layer is formed by dense corundum ceramic (AL2O3) at a high temperature above 2200℃, and forms a firm bond with the steel pipe through the transition layer. In addition, there are also products consisting of metal elbows and lined ceramic patches.
Structure and characteristics of lined patch ceramic wear-resistant elbow
Lined patch ceramic wear-resistant elbow consists of two parts: metal elbow and lined ceramic patch. Metal elbows are usually made of high-strength and high-corrosion-resistant materials, such as stainless steel or alloy steel. Lined ceramic patches are made of ceramic materials with high hardness, high wear resistance and good chemical stability, such as alumina ceramics, silicon nitride ceramics, etc. The ceramic patch is tightly attached to the inner wall of the metal elbow through a special process to form a solid wear-resistant layer.
Product Types
Ceramic wear liner pipes are classified according to the production and installation methods and can be divided into three types of wear-resistant ceramic pipes: patch type, spot welding card type, and integral ceramic ring.
Direct-bond wear-resistant ceramic pipe: Direct-bonded wear-resistant ceramic pipe uses high-temperature strong adhesive to paste the ceramic sheet inside the pipe, and forms a firm anti-wear layer after heating and curing. The chip-type wear-resistant ceramic pipe has a simple production process, low cost, short production cycle, and flexible selection of ceramics, and the diameter of the pipe is not limited.
Spot-welded card-type wear-resistant ceramic pipe: This kind of pipe is based on the SMD wear-resistant ceramic pipe, adding spot welding holes and ceramic caps to the middle of the ceramic sheet, which greatly improves the anti-shedding ability and reduces the temperature of the adhesive. The restrictions are also weakened, and a trapezoidal angle is formed between the ceramic sheets of the spot-welded card-type wear-resistant ceramic pipe, the gap is small, and the erosion resistance is strong. However, the production process of this product is complicated and the production cycle is long.
Integral ceramic ring wear-resistant ceramic pipe: The integrally formed wear-resistant ceramic pipe is made by firing the ceramic pipe as a whole, and then using a special filling material to cast it inside the steel pipe. Its inner wall is smooth and seamless, resistant to wear and corrosion. It has strong anti-erosion performance and can operate at high temperatures, but the production cycle of the overall ceramic ring wear-resistant ceramic pipe is long and the cost is high.
Centrifugal Casting Composite Ceramic Pipe: Centrifugal casting composite ceramic pipe is a composite pipe manufactured by "self-propagating high-temperature synthesis - high-speed centrifugal technology", which forms a uniform, dense, and smooth ceramic layer and transition layer at high temperature and high speed.

Selection and installation of wear-resistant ceramic elbows
When selecting and installing lined ceramic pipes, the following points should be noted:
Select appropriate metal elbows and ceramic patch materials according to the characteristics of the fluid medium and the requirements of the working environment.
During the installation process, ensure that the connection between the elbow and the pipeline system is tight and reliable to prevent fluid leakage.
Inspect and maintain the elbows regularly to promptly detect and deal with possible wear and corrosion problems.
Lined patch wear-resistant ceramic lined elbows have become an indispensable and important component in industrial pipeline systems with their excellent performance and wide application fields. Through reasonable selection and installation, the stability and operating efficiency of the conveying system can be effectively improved, the cost of use can be reduced, and strong support can be provided for the development of enterprises.
